Yeah, I guess inside of a cow, it’s too dark to see the milk, huh?
All kidding aside, though, I have always loved cows. They just may be my favorite animal. They always seem so contended and restful; they are beautiful — at least to me they are — and they give us nourishment. What more could you possible ask from any one animal? And there is absolutely nothing cuter than a calf frolicking in the pasture or sticking his head through a fence to get you to rub the top of his head. (Well, one of us should write a poem about cows now …)
Like a saying I sometimes use – “as black as the inside of a cow” – but then I am an ex dairy farmer. 🙂
