  1. May I share your Cherokee alphabet with my 3rd and 4th grade Homeschool Co-op group of 14 girls? We are making a lap book of Native American culture, and one section is on famous Native Americans, one of them being Sequoyah.

    1. I didn’t make this alphabet. It was a print that I bought in Cherokee, NC, and I just took a picture of it. It’s legal for me to share my own picture, and I don’t mind if you use the picture as well, but I don’t know if it would make a difference if you actually reprint the material in a book — since it’s someone else’s original art.

I’ve lost the print, so I have no clue as to the artist. If you use the picture just to share with the class, I’m sure there’s no copyright problem, but to reprint it in a book, you’d have to check the copyright law to be sure. I just don’t know. Sorry I can’t be more help.

Hey, don't you dare go away without leaving me a note!
