A friend gave me this photo to use for Jake’s challenge this week. I thought it was an interesting way to look at “plains.”
Join in on the fun by visiting Jake’s site and learning the rules — of which there are very few. http://jakesprinters.wordpress.com/2013/02/25/sunday-post-plains/
Your azalea header had me speechless!
Thank you. That was one of about 20-some photos I took last spring of all my azaleas. They were the most beautiful I had ever seen them in the 12 years I had lived here. There are actually two varieties and about four different colors, and they all bloomed a few days apart over a period of two weeks. So I took all the photos I could and put them into a slide show for the blog. Just in case you’d enjoy seeing more of them, I’ll include the link to that slideshow here: https://sandraconner.wordpress.com/2012/04/09/azaleas-abounding/
Thank you!
I love this image Sandra thanks for sharing 🙂
And a view of the plains not seen by many people 🙂
I know. There’s a company that gives balloon rides like this about once or twice a year — at an event about 100 miles from me, and I checked into it once because a friend and I wanted to take a ride. But the cheapest price was $400 for one person, and I think that was for about 30 minutes. I just couldn’t justify that kind of use of the money in my own mind.
