Wonderful haiku and I’m so glad you stick to 17!
Thanks, Gilly. And I just figure if I’m going to try to do Haiku, I need to stick to the syllable rules. Otherwise, I need to do some other form. I have to admit that this piece was a bit of work to be able to say exactly what I wanted in those few syllables. But it was worth it.
