Since we’re moving towards summer and its bright warm colors, I felt in the mood to do a post featuring a few of my paintings that use oranges and yellows primarily. Hope you enjoy them.

There are a number of black and white photography challenges out there — and also a number of terrific black and white photos posted in response. I’m not really a photographer, but I am an artist who uses watercolor, acrylics, and inks. So every once in a while I like to see what some of my artworks look like when they are converted to black and white. Thought I’d share a few of those today.

Each year I create a few new Christmas card designs to sell. This year I’ve decided on two for sure, and I may have two more by next week. We’ll see. But I thought I’d share the two that are definite.
This first one is an original ink sketch cover, and the inside message reads:
“Wishing you a safe, warm, peaceful Christmas.”
The second design is original watercolor on the front cover. And the inside message reads:
“It’s Christmas —
A time to remember Jesus and all He’s done for us —
and because of what He’s done — to be happy.
WISHING YOU THE HAPPIEST CHRISTMAS EVER!”
