JUST A HAPPY LITTLE FLORAL IN ACRYLICS

These days there are a lot of people out there who need to spend some time smoking a peace pipe instead of screaming, cussing, and wreaking havoc on others.
This painting is my second rendition of the theme of the TRUE PROTECTOR OF OUR DREAMS. This version is watercolor and acrylics used together.
Hey, you watercolor artists out there — and all of you who have ever thought you might like to dabble in watercolor — did you know that July is World Watercolor Month? I’m posting my entries for the first four days’ prompts below. But entrants do not have to follow the prompts. It you’d like to paint anything at all in watercolor, you can post it on any social media sight with this hashtag — #worldwatercolormonth — and it will be connected to the main gallery that records everyone’s entries. If you’d like more information on participating — which is totally free by the way — just hop over to the Doodlewashsite and check out the details.
Here are my entries so far:
DAY 1: REJOICE
DAY 2: TEXTURE
DAY 3: PLAYFUL
DAY 4: QUIET
My brand new Christmas card series “DARE TO BE DIFFERENT CHRISTMAS’ debuted this week at a holiday craft fair near my hometown. I’ve created scores of Christmas themed cards in the past, but last year, for some reason, I didn’t do anything new. However, this year, I just couldn’t resist something a little “out-of-the-ordinary.” I created three new designs featuring my watercolor and acrylic paintings. So I thought I’d share pictures of the fronts, along with the inside sentiments.
Also, I’m thinking about getting set up to sell my greeting cards online after the first of the year. I’d appreciate hearing from any of you out there who have online marketing experience. Do you have any advice — pro or con — about the different kinds of marketing venues such as E-Bay, Etsy, Personal E-Commerce Sites, etc.?
Hope you enjoy these three new designs. They were really fun to make.
Merry Christmas!
Wishing you an out-of-the-ordinary,
spectacularly happy
Christmas!
These are two of my newest greeting cards — somewhat abstract in nature. Actually, they don’t look as good on here as they do in “real life,” but I like to post them anyway, because sharing what I’m creating helps keep me in the creative flow even when other things press me for time and energy. I got a kick out of creating both of them, so I hope you get an equal kick out of seeing them.
