I didn’t take the photo, so I’m not sure, but I think with that many people stranded, surely someone had a cell phone and could call to get them rescued — at least enough to get inside to shelter. I don’t want that much snow, but after weeks and weeks of 102-107 temps and so much drought that whole trees have been dying, my neighborhood is very open to a little snow right now.
There are a lot of people around my neck of the woods who don’t like snow — including me — but after weeks and weeks of temps 102-107 and no rain, we are all open to the idea of snow just so it gets that cold around here. However, I could not tolerate living anywhere it snowed so much that it could strand a whole highway of motorists like that picture shows. We finally got some really good rain this past week, and today the temps are really good. We are VERY grateful.
hope there are not any people in them,,,;)

Goodness I can’t bear snow so I find this quite scary!
