HURRAY! I’m Fixed!

BALLOONS VERTICLEThank the Lord, thank WordPress, and thank all of you who prayed!  I’m fixed, and I can now get back into my blogs normally.

I really thought it had to be a glitch of some kind connected with the Chrome browser, but I couldn’t be sure. I was sure I hadn’t posted anything that would get me suspended, and I knew I could still get a minimal connection through Firefox. But with Firefox, I couldn’t see everything on the site.

My computer is very old and has some problems working with Internet Explorer and Firefox both, so I can’t access the blogs enough to use them normally with either of those.  And, considering the fact that I have four blogs on here, that was a lot to lose.

However, all is well now. It’s nice to be back home!

    1. I had to laugh when I read this, because very early on in my blogging experience, I looked up at the top of my page and saw the “Follow” button. I thought it was to find out who was following the blog. But when I clicked on it, I realized I had clicked to “follow” myself. I told a friend about my mistake, and she almost rolled in the floor laughing. Her comment was that the action MUST say something about my ego as a writer.

        1. The only thing is that “following” your own blog won’t do any good if WordPress actually does suspend the blog, because no one who follows it will be able to access it either. It disappears. So I can’t imagine why anyone told you that following your own would help in that situation. And if it is still online, you could type the address into your address bar and get there just as easily. You can’t get to the dashboard that way, but anyone who is subscribed to the blog can’t get to the dashboard either, so I guess I just don’t see how subscribing to our own blog helps at all.

          1. I do open the weekly digest and see how many posts I have. Last week i had nine and wondered if that was too many. this week i had seven and thought that was better. lol. so silly, really I post what i want when i want and don’t keep up with stats or recommendations…doesn’t mean i don’t read them. 😉
