Back to Business

Scott Thomas Summers’ poetry is extremely moving and takes the reader right into the heart of what it’s like to be a soldier in the midst of war. You cannot read his work without being touched deeply.

Writing With Some Ink and a Hammer

I created this blog as a way of advertising my two books: Private Hercules McGraw and The Journals of Lt. Kendall Everly. Both are stories of the American Civil War. Private Hercules McGraw narrates a tale from a Confederate prospective. Lt. Kendal Everly narrates a tale from a Union point-of-view; however, both books also speak of very human journeys, one triumphant, the other tragic.

If I could, might I urge you to read, perhaps, one. Both are well reviewed and have been nominated for the Pushcart Prize, a national literary award.

If I were able, I’d give my books to whomever wanted a copy, but sadly I can’t. Both books are available on Amazon. you can access the proper Amazon pages by clicking on the book covers on the right side of this blog. I will also provide the proper links below.

Sorry if this post is pushy…
