A picture says a thousand words. This picture makes me curious. What would the toad, sitting out of site of the scene, say about getting to the other side?
Not to worry: not far below this section of the falls is the creek bed, and it has enough shallow parts in that area that the little toad could probably walk across on the rocks. Of course, it you’re referring to the header photo with the Lilly pads, that’s a different story. Not sure now deep that pond is because that shot was taken by a friend, and I wasn’t there.
