I just finished another encouraging message from the Word of God for my ministry YouTube channel. Thought some of my followers from this site would enjoy it as well.
I have much to share about today’s Daily Post prompt: heal. And the best way I know to do that is to share two links. The first is a video reading of Chapter One of my book Healing Is For You! I hope it encourages and lifts all my readers. The second link is to the Amazon page where you can find the book in paperback or digital, in case you’d like your own copy.
Now, have a blessed and healthy day!
You can click on the book to go to the Amazon store and purchase a copy.
Hey, I just want to let you all know that my book Healing Is For You! is now available in paperback from Amazon. It’s been on the market in paperback for years, selling in independent bookstores, at seminars, Bible schools, and through churches. And it went onto Amazon in digital format last year. But the only online retailer for the paperback was the publisher’s website, St. Ellen Press.
However, this week the book has come out in its fourth paperback edition, with a new look, new format, and lower price ($6.99) — and now it’s easy to order from Amazon.
It still offers a thorough study from God’s Word about healing for body and mind, and it still answers scores of the most troubling questions on the subject. Such as —-
Is it always God’s will to heal?
If it is God’s will to heal everyone, then why doesn’t everyone receive healing?
What part does medical science play in God’s healing plan?
Is it God who decides when each person dies?
How can I ever die if I keep getting healed?
If I don’t have faith for healing, can I get it somehow?
The book doesn’t promote any church doctrine. Rather it looks closely and carefully at God’s Word — especially the life and ministry of Jesus — who, according to the Word, is the only exact, perfect representation of God. It looks at God’s personal and perfectly-executed plan to get His people well and keep them well. It covers 9 separate means that God Himself has provided to get His healing power into us, and it looks carefully at 7 of the most common hindrances to our receiving that healing fully. It also offers a final chapter with more than 100 healing scriptures to use as medicine, just the way the Lord instructs us to do.
The Lord has graciously anointed and blessed Healing Is For You! to strengthen and encourage faith and help people receive healing from Jesus Christ. If you need healing, or you would like to better understand God’s healing plan so that you can help others get well, it will be a wonderful tool to help you move more fully into God’s loving, merciful plan to bless His people.
In my country, November is the month of “Thanksgiving.” But since harvest season lasts in many countries from September through November, a lot of people around the world focus on expressing their gratitude for the blessings they have received throughout the year.
One of the things I’m most grateful for is excellent health. It’s probably the most important thing for me personally of all the blessings I enjoy. And the main reason I’m able to enjoy excellent health is because the Lord Jesus Christ has offered me His own health and well-being to take the place of sickness and infirmity in my body — just the way He offers me His own righteousness to take the place of my sinfulness.
I’ve studied God’s Word diligently throughout my lifetime, and I’ve particularly studied what He has to tell us about healing, because the Lord called me into a healing ministry many years ago. As a result of what I’ve learned from His Word — and from 40 years of ministering His healing power to people with all kinds of bodily and mental afflictions — I wrote the book Healing Is For You! Although I originally wrote it almost 18 years ago, I have updated it three times in the past few years. The book is now in its third edition, and has been purchased and used by churches, Christian schools, and individuals to help stir and strengthen the faith of the sick and help them receive the healing they need from the merciful God who created their bodies and wants them well.
I’ve been blessed many times over by the testimonies of people who have read this book and received their faith so strengthened that they were able to reach out and receive from the Lord miraculous changes in their bodies and another chance at a life of health and wholeness. As a way of expressing my gratitude for my own health and for the health of the many who have received through the ministry of this book, I decided to offer it at a significant sale price throughout the month of November.
So from today, November 3, 2016, through November 30, 2016, Healing Is For You! will be on sale in its e-book format at the Amazon Kindle store for $1.99. That’s a savings of $2.00. You can follow the link to the Kindle store and learn more about the book. It answers a lot of the most common questions concerning healing and how to receive it from the Lord. And it includes many personal testimonies as well as a thorough study of God’s own Word on the subject.
If you do not own a Kindle, that is no problem, because right on the page where you purchase the book, Amazon offers the download of a free Kindle app for any device that you want to use.
If you’re facing illness in your own life, or you have a loved one who is, think about getting a copy of Healing Is For You! Because God’s healing really is for you, and He wants to help you receive it from Him today.
Just a note to let my readers know that “Healing Is For You!” is now an e-book. The book (now in its third edition) has been used for years in churches, in Bible and Christian schools, and in personal and group studies. It’s a handbook for anyone who wants help in receiving healing from the Lord — or for those who want to learn more about what God’s Word says concerning healing in order to help others.
The book answers such troubling questions as the following:
Is it always God’s will to heal everybody?
What part does medical science play in God’s healing plan?
Isn’t man promised only 70 or 80 years of life on earth?
Is it God who determines when each person dies?
How can I die if I keep getting healed?
If it’s God’s will to heal, why do so many people fail to receive healing from Him?
If I don’t have faith for healing can I get that faith somehow?
You’ll find the e-book version at the Amazon Kindle Store for $3.99. And if you don’t have a Kindle, you can download a totally free Kindle app for any device you use.
Check it out. If you don’t need it, purchase one for someone you love who does need it.
I hadn’t heard about the “Prompt Nights” writing challenge until this week. And when I saw the current prompt, I couldn’t resist taking part — since ministry in the area of healing is one of the things I do most. So I’m sharing a poem I actually wrote a few years go, but it fits this week’s prompt perfectly.
DR. JEHOVAH RAPHA
(Exodus 15:26, Mark 5:25-34)
Her brow was wet with fever,
And her body wracked with pain.
She did not know just what was wrong,
But the symptoms would not change.
She knew she needed healing,
But she had no way to pay.
Who to turn to; who to trust;
Who to show the way?
A friend said to her, “Sister,
I know a doctor kind.
He cleanses lepers, makes lame walk,
And gives sight to the blind.
In fact, He’ll take on any case,
And cure it every time.”
“Oh, would that I could go to Him,”
She then was heard to say.
“But since I do not know His name,
How can I know the way?
And even if He’d take my case,
I simply cannot pay.”
“My dear, fear not,” her friend replied;
“There is no need to fear.
I’ll take you to Him right away;
He’s really very near.
His name’s Jehovah Rapha; He’s
‘The God that healeth thee.’
And because of His Son’s precious blood,
The healing – it is free!

This video offers Chapter Two of my book Healing Is For You! — read by yours truly.
Thanksgiving Day is just around the corner,
And I am set to have a lovely time.
First I’ll make a jaunt to church and, kneeling down,
I’ll thank the Lord for all His blessings kind.
And then I’ll journey farther to meet kith and kin.
We’ll hug and laugh and tell each other news.
Then next I’ll help dish up the yummy treats in store;
So many dishes, all from which to choose.
Then after eating more than I could ever need,
And going back again for one more pinch,
I’ll sit by fireplace warm and cuddle little ones,
And soon we’ll be asleep; it is a cinch.
Oh, my, how dear Thanksgiving is to all of us.
It gives us one whole day when we can part
From all that pulls and presses us and wounds us sore,
And give ourselves to healing, loving hearts.
Taking part in Cee’s “Share Your World” challenge again this week.
I most definitely would rather take them. I am not photogenic at all, and I can count on one hand all the pictures of me that I feel good about. And to be honest, most of those were taken by my dad when I was in elementary school and he was a professional photographer. But I love taking pictures and working with them to make something unique whenever I can.
Question # 2: What did you most enjoy doing this past week?
Making my trip to the Smoky Mountains. I love the area and have since I was 6 years old. I’d live there if I could, and I thoroughly enjoyed myself the three days I was there — even when we had some pretty aggravating challenges at the same time.
Question # 3: What is your greatest extravagance?
Paper products and candy. I find myself often using paper plates and plastic silverware just because I don’t want to have to take the time to do dishes. I have so many other things going on that I keep putting off dishes in order to do the other stuff. It isn’t that I mind the actual washing. It’s just that life has so many more important things going on that need my time and energy. I also love candy, so I tend to buy it even when I shouldn’t spend the money — or shouldn’t eat it.
Question # 4: Which letter of the alphabet describes you best?
The letter A describes me best. I love to begin things. I’m generally pretty faithful to finish what I start, but it’s not always as much fun finishing. I’ve occasionally tried to start too many new things while I’m responsible for continuing or finishing some that were started in the past. I have to keep a tight reign on myself.
Bonus Question: What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?
To join in on the fun, hop over to Cee’s Photography and get the details of how to participate.
Has the peril of the systems
Of the economic sphere
Left you beaten down and overwhelmed
And buried under fear?
Has the rampant spread of sickness,
Diagnosis of sure death,
Left you reeling in confusion,
Condemned to draw your final breath?
Then look away: from all the darkness,
From the death and fear and pain.
Hear the rumble of the tombstone
As it rolls from off the grave.
See the lightning flash of glory
As the Son begins to rise,
As He steps from death’s dark dungeon:
The successful sacrifice.
Hear Him say, “The curse is broken!
I have come to give you life.
Ask of Me, and I will answer;
I have victory for your strife.
I’ve a storehouse of provisions;
I have healing for your pain;
I’ve forgiveness for your sin,
And I can make you clean again.
“For as surely as I died for you,
Took all your sin on me,
So My resurrection power is yours;
Enough to set you free.
There is no price;
It’s for the taking.
But the only place you’ll find it
Is in Me.”
