I wish I could spend a week at the ocean, but since I can’t, I’m pretending with my ink pen.
There are a number of black and white photography challenges out there — and also a number of terrific black and white photos posted in response. I’m not really a photographer, but I am an artist who uses watercolor, acrylics, and inks. So every once in a while I like to see what some of my artworks look like when they are converted to black and white. Thought I’d share a few of those today.
This piece was just a fun project painted in response to a still-life art challenge.
It’s time to start painting my Christmas gift bags for this year. I finished the first two late last night. It’s one of my favorite holiday activities.
I participate in a Facebook Art Group, which issues a new challenge for us every month. This month’s challenge had to do with memories, and this is my response.
I’ve titled this little painting “Come, Ye Thankful People, Come.”
