July is World Watercolor Month, and I’ve been splashing around quite a bit during the last few weeks — mostly with the birds. 🙂 So I thought I’d share a few of the paintings I’ve done to celebrate watercolor this month.

There is much joy in your watercolor paintings of birds!
Yes, I paint birds because it makes me happy to do so. I use that as therapy for stress and depressing times. I painted so many that I decided to devote a whole sketchbook to them, but then I had to start a second sketch book. I currently have 70 paintings (or ink sketches) of nothing but birds. Some are sort of realistic, but most are my imagination and my frame of mind when I pick up the pen or brush. 🙂
A wonderful therapy for becoming happy! 😊
Very nice art.
Thank you.
You’re most welcome
