Well, I’ll Be Blogged!

by Sandra Conner

I think I have a lot to say —
Too much to finish in one day.
If I record a daily log,
I’ll have the skeleton of a total blog.

And if I flesh that skeleton out
And give it life, I have no doubt
Readers will gather round about
And greet each shining post with joyful shout.

I’ll shock the timid, cheer the sad,
Enrage the liberal and make him mad,
And all I write, be it good or bad,
To cyberspace my own two cents will add.

    1. Thank you. And it’s so neat that while your were posting this, I was on your site posting a new comment to you. I had come across it in my e-mail, where I had missed it earlier.

    1. Thank you. I was just in the mood to write a poem, and blogging was on my mind. So I sat down and fooled around with words until I came up with this. Just one of those days.

  1. I’m in the process of revising my blog. In doing so, I’ve added your site to my blogroll. I saw that you added mine to yours. Thanks!! I did change my blog’s name. It is now simply The Lint In My Pocket. It will no longer will carry a Civil War focus. Instead, I will simply focus on the business and blessings of writing.

    1. I can certainly understand that, but PLEASE make a special page, with a tab in your navigation bar, that will still focus on the Civil War material. It’s so special.

Not trying to tell you how to run your blog or anything ……

      1. Good idea. Will do. I will continue to post my War poems, but I will also talk about the writing process, etc.

        God bless,
