RACING AMAZON COVER = 2 LINES - FRONT

When a small coastal town is invaded by witchcraft that threatens the lives of the school children and the future of the entire community, the citizens must learn to fight back with a Higher Power.

Exhausted after a battle with supernatural forces, Sheriff Noah Bennett, with his white stallion Moondancer, travels to a small coastal community seeking rest and healing for his battered soul. While there, he befriends David, a 6-year-old boy who loves horses, and his aunt, beautiful Serenity Lawrence.

But the same forces of evil that invaded his own hometown have now invaded this small haven, and Noah must decide if he’s ready to be used as an instrument in God’s hands again to apply the principles of His Kingdom in defeating these powers once more. It will mean setting aside his recuperation – and his budding romance – until the job is done.

Can he teach the believers of Hamsted how to use the name of Jesus and His blood to destroy the witchcraft and the Satanic roots behind it? And is he willing? Walk through this journey with Noah, as he struggles to find a way to overcome his own fear and weakness in order to commit himself to fighting a new battle with forces from beyond this world.

Experience the power of God as angels and demons engage on the spiritual plane while believers discover the truth about their position of authority and their victory in the name of Jesus Christ and His blood.

FMF October Challenge 2017 – Day 1

Ooooops. I accidentally linked my Day 1 page to the main site for the challenge. To find my Home Page and the links to all 31 posts, click HERE. Thanks.

Today’s prompt is “Worship.”

SMILING WHALE - WHITE ON AQUAWorship: it’s the door to peace, power, and pleasures for evermore. Jonah found worship to be his most powerful help in getting back into God’s grace. When he’d deliberately disobeyed the Lord and ended up in the belly of a big fish at the bottom of the sea, he came to his senses and realized how foolish he’d been. When he looked around, everything he saw told him there was no hope for rescue– or any kind of future. But he knew that there was still a God who wanted to save him. So he turned his attention away from his circumstances and away from his own disobedience. Instead, he focused on his God and began worshiping Him. Shortly thereafter, he was cast out of the fish onto dry land, and he got a second chance to live the successful life God has always wanted for him.

Habakkuk found that worship was his most power friend when he looked all around and found that the trees weren’t bearing fruit, the flock weren’t bearing offspring, and everything looked like there was no hope for the land of Israel. But, knowing that salvation from all that looked hopeless lay in His God – and that what God’s Word said was more real and more reliable than what he saw in the natural – He worshiped God and called for the rest of the nation to do the same – knowing that as they worshiped, they were releasing God’s hand to bring life and productiveness back into their situation.

And talk about power in worship: let’s not forget Paul and Silas, in the depths of a Philistine prison, who decided that nothing in their circumstances could outweigh the loveliness and the faithfulness of their God. As they chose to worship Him, rather than bemoan their current, temporary physical situation, the power of God moved with such force that it broke up the earth and the building where they were being held captive. And not only were they set free – but the jailer and his family were liberated from their hell-bound lives into a blessed relationship with God for eternity.

Eternity is what it’s really all about. God wants us to have blessed lives while we’re on this earth, but He’s even more concerned that we have the blessing of living and creating with Him for all of eternity – enjoying the priceless, indescribable pleasures that we find in His presence. Psalm 16:11 tells us, “ … in Thy presence is fullness of joy. At Thy right hand there are pleasures forevermore.” Worship heads us in the right direction for eternity. But while we’re here on the earth preparing for that eternity, as we worship Him, God says (Psalm 22:3) that He will literally inhabit our praises. And were He is, we’ll experience peace, power, and pleasures forevermore.

I Am My Beloved’s

HEART RIVER TRQUS BRIGHT“I am my Beloved’s, and His desire is toward me”

(Song of Solomon 7:10)

Jesus loves you, and His desire is toward you. That word toward is very significant here, because most people who love someone have a desire for them — rather than toward them. And, in truth, Jesus does desire to have you for His own, but that’s only so that He can give you everything He is and everything He’s accomplished for you. He wants you to have everything He has. And He’s already paid the price for you to possess it. You don’t have to do anything to earn all that He has for you. The only requirement on your part is that you receive Him into your own spirit (your own heart) and make Him Lord of your life. Once He’s in that position, He can begin pouring into you all that you need and all that will make your life blessed and successful now — and throughout eternity.

In Ephesians, chapter 1, the Word of God tells us that God accomplished total victory over every force of evil through Jesus’ work of redemption, and when He raised Jesus from the grave, He gave Him absolute, eternal power and authority over every person and thing in the entire universe. Then the Word says that when God did that, He was exercising the “greatness of His power toward us.”  It was all done for us. You see, God’s power is always moving and working to bring us good. It’s always toward us. The truth is that if you become a child of God — by accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord — you just can’t get away from God’s power working good for you.

Men and women for generations have sought high and low for some kind of religion that would satisfy them. They’ve studied one religious system after another and experimented with their various tenets and practices. But not one — not one single religion on the face of the earth — can offer man a total deliverance from his own base nature and from the evil that exudes from that nature. Not one of those religions can offer a fresh start, free of charge, and a nature purified and changed into the nature of the God who created us in the first place. Every religion out there tells us that we, somehow, have to do something, to earn a better life and a better eternity. We have to work at it, and then may not obtain our goal in the end after all.

But Christianity is NOT a religion. True Christianity is simply the Father God loving His own children, and being loved by them. It’s a family, pure and simple. Every parent who is worthy to be called a parent is constantly aware that he loves his child more than his own life, and his constant desire is toward his child — to meet his needs, heal his wounds, and bless him with gifts. And God is no different. That’s His desire as well. And through Jesus, the first Son, He calls all of us into His loving arms, desiring us to receive His love and become sons and daughter as well, so that He can exert His power toward us for good.

If you know this wonderful Father, you know what I’m talking about. But if you do not yet know Him, today can be your day. He already loves you, His desire is already toward you. Call out to Jesus and let His exceeding great power work a total regeneration in you today — and for eternity.

Thanksgiving Thursday — one day late

I had so much going on yesterday — with roofers at my house and a printer that wouldn’t print my curriculum for my writing class Thursday night. As a result, I missed posting my “Thanksgiving Thursday” post. So I’m a day late, but determined. If you’d like to share something you’re thankful for this week, just post about it and paste the link to it in the “Comments” section below — any day is fine.

FORKLIFT WITH BOXESThis week I’m thankful for my NEW ROOF.  Yes indeedy!  The old one was down to the bare wood on one side. Thanks to God’s protection, it had not started leaking into the house, but I’m so glad to have the new one.

I’m not including a picture of that roof because I’d have to stand so far away to get it to show that you couldn’t really see it clearly anyway. Instead, I’ve included a picture of a truck with a forklift because I stood and watched as one of the biggest trucks I’ve ever seen pulled into my yard, and then the driver turned to a forklift on the back of the truck and lifted huge pallets of roofing material from the bed of the truck all the way up onto my roof. I’d never watched anything like that before, and it was fun.

Even though you can’t see the roof for yourself, you can take my word for it:  IT’S PRETTY!

Witty Little Ditty – Daily Post Prompt

GREEN TYPEWRITER - gold

I must compose a witty little ditty.
It’s for the daily posty prompty thingy.
The problem is the prompt’s so very ‘daily,’
But I will meet the challenge of it gaily.

Now, to choose a subject for my ditty.
I don’t want it to sound too flighty-flitty.
Perhaps I’ll write of love — so very pretty,
Or courage in the face of danger — gritty.

No, on the other hand, this little prompty
Is starting now to aggravate my tummy.
So maybe I’ll hold off and have a thinky,
Before I write this posty prompty thingy.

Daily Post Prompt: Witty

Share Your World 9/25/17

HERE is where you find the details about participating in ‘Share Your World.’

Question # 1:  What is your favorite outdoor activity?

Walking. I’m not a ‘sports’ person, but I do enjoy walking — especially in the fall.

Question # 2:  In a car, would you rather drive or be a passenger?

It depends. Sometimes I’m in the mood to drive, and other times I’d much rather someone else did the work and had to do all the concentrating, so I can just enjoy the journey. However, nowadays, there are so many people who feel they absolutely cannot refrain from picking up their cell phone — or leaning over to read the screen — every time it dings to notify them of a text that I don’t trust very many people to drive me anywhere. These people who think that just because they aren’t “sending” a text, it’s okay to take their eyes from the road and read one are crazy.  And I won’t let crazy people drive while I’m in the car.

Question # 3:  If you could have 3 wishes granted for you alone, what would they be?

Well, I have to admit that my choices are variable. A lot depends on the mood I’m in and what I’ve been experiencing lately in my life. But as of today — this hour — I’d say the following:

  1. I wish I could live in the Great Smoky Mountains.
  2. I wish I could spend a month in New England every year.
  3. I wish I could fall in love one more time while I’m on this earth. [That’s not as easy as it sounds — or maybe I’m just too particular 🙂 ]

Question # 4:  What inspired you, or what did you appreciate this past week?

I came across so many great coffee pictures (and I do appreciate a good cup of coffee) that they inspired me to begin creating a coffee calendar. I’ll put one or two together for next year and perhaps sell them as I do greeting cards.

Daily Grind Coffee Quotes – Day 1

I recently discovered some great coffee pictures, and now I can’t seem to stop myself from coming up with fitting slogans for all of them.  So I decided I’d just turn them into my own ‘Coffee Calendar.’ 🙂 Then I figured that while I’m accumulating my pics and creating my quotes, I might as well share them with my readers here. I need at least 12 for a full year’s calendar, but I may have more than 12 to work with. I’m thinking I’ll also do a series of coffee-themed greeting cards. So when I’m to the end of my collection, maybe all of you readers can help me choose the 12 to use for the printed calendar and another 12 for the card series.

Well, I can’t get done until I’ve begun, so today’s the day.  Enjoy!
