Labels:
We all wear them.
Some of them we give ourselves,
The rest come from the judgment of
Others.
I’ve learned,
As I’ve matured,
To focus on the good
And just ignore derogatory
Labels.
Life’s short,
And can be sweet,
But only if we learn
To quite ignore all labels that
Oppress.
